It might make sense for you to check out a game or few at your boys' level to see what it is like. We were initially concerned about going from Rec to Upper House, worried that it would be too competative, though we have found that we have fit in well. My understanding with SQWAD is that you can see the schedules of the different age levels and flights to find a convenient game to watch.
