We may need guest players as well for our Sunday game. What is the limit of guest players?
Our 7th grade boys team very likely needs guests for our Sunday, 10/9 game (kickoff 1:00 p.m. at Polo).
My understanding is Rec guest players can play up 2 grades, e.g., 5th, 6th, and 7th grade Rec players could guest play on a 7th grade Rec team. Although we are a 7th grade team with no players older than 7th grade, we are in a combined 7th/8th grade bracket this season. Does that impact what grades are eligible to guest play with us?
We have some confident younger siblings willing to step in if we don't find anyone else. But they are in 5th grade and I'm not sure if they are allowed to guest play with us due to the combined 7th/8th grade bracket. (Our opponents for this game are also as far we know a 7th grade-only team if that makes a difference.)
