Creating a Guest Player Pool

All players must be registered and insured in order to participate.

• There are some instances with school classes being too large for one roster and too small for two teams. We hear you!
• Also, since private league play does not necessarily mean higher level play, there are players who would like to play for their club and their school. There are specific SF Rec & Park rules around making that possible, mostly ensuring that teams are made up primarily of unique San Francisco players, and those that are dual playing are clearly guest players.

How this works: In SQWAD, in the current SFYS season, coaches can create a new team and register it in the same division as their official team. Please name it something like "[official team name] Guest Players" for clarity. You don't need to roster any other coaches or managers, just add yourself so you can invite those extra players. Click here if you need any refreshers, the process will be exactly the same as any other team. 

Once your extra players have accepted the invitation, they'll be available to guest play for games during the season.

• Reminder from above that the game day limits are strict. You'll see this in the article: when you add guest players, you'll choose a specific game to add them to, and you'll be able to inactivate other players who won't be attending.
