Guest Play - Spring 2024

Guest play helps keep the game on when teams are short of players! Guest play also provides additional playing opportunities for interested players, as well as connecting more teams and individuals.

Spring season is especially tough with spring break, Easter, camping trips, tournaments, other sports, etc. so guest play becomes even more essential.

Generally we advise - connect with other teams from your club, your school, neigborhood, and even upcoming opponent (maybe they have 11 and you have 6!). Players can play up by 2 years, but must be registered on an SFYS team - they cannot guest in from another league.

As a rule - Upper house players may not guest into the recreational division, and boys cannot guest onto girls teams, but girls can guest to boys, and recreational can guest to upper house.

Each week, you can add up to three guest players. Here are specifics on how to do that.

The purpose for this is to reach out (and we'll help share this with everyone we can) to help you field a team each week you need to use a guest player.
