Guest Play Tips

We know using our new registration system for guest play is still a bit new for everyone. Here are a few tips to help make things easier:

Does your team have more interested players than the roster maximum allows?
Some teams have created an “overflow” team that includes players who:

• Can’t make most practices

• Just want to be available as needed

• Players registered on non-SFYS teams that want the option of playing with their friends

All players on an overflow or guest team must still:

• Be registered with SFYS

• Have paid the season fee ($140)

• Have their birth documents verified

Have you invited a Guest Player but don’t see them on your Game Day Photo Roster?
Getting a cleared Guest Player is a three-step process:

1. A Team Admin registers the player (with the role of Guest Player).

2. The parent/caregiver receives an email and must accept the invitation.

3. The parent/caregiver or Team Manager updates the player’s attendance for the game.

We know this process takes a little getting used to—but we’re here to help every step of the way!
