Team Admin Compliance

To all Team Admins (Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers),

We are grateful for your participation in SFYS — we truly appreciate your commitment and support.

Here's what you need to know about your compliance for coaching or managing within our league.

You can find the status of your compliance certifications and trainings in several different places.

You can check your "membership status" on our site. Log in to sfyouthsoccer.org hover over or click your name in the upper right corner. Select Account and look for Memberships in the left bar menu (on desktop) or select Profile Menu at the bottom of the screen if using a mobile device and then select Memberships. This gives you a snapshot of your clearance status.

• If you are cleared you'll see a Coach and/or Team Manager Verification for SFYS, a green "current" button and an expiration date listed.
• If you see Coach and/or Team Manager Verification with a grey "expired" button, one or more of your compliance requirements has expired.
• No memberships means you are missing one or more of your compliance requirements.

To find out what you are missing, check one or both of these:

Ankored stores all information related to coach and team admin clearance requirements and will notify you of any upcoming expiration dates that may affect your ability to coach or manage your team. You can check your Ankored profile at any time, as long as you have activated your account, which can only be done from the activation email sent from Ankored. If you haven't activated your account and can't find the email, please reach out to info@sfyouthoccer.com to request this email be resent. *Ankored is the only place where your LiveScan clearance status will be visible.

Check your US Soccer Learning Center profile. This will show you the status of your certifications for Safesport, Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments (ISHPE), and the JDP-issued background check. Additionally, Coaches will see their current coaching license(s). Note: Live Scan information is not kept in U.S. Soccer, it is only kept in Ankored.

For many years, SFYS has used the SAY RSI background check tool. RSI has now been sunsetted. Anyone previously cleared through RSI will remain cleared until their current expiration date, at which point they will be prompted to complete a JDP background check through U.S. Soccer.
