1) To confirm, within a birth year/grade, guest players may only "play up" (eg rec to upper house), but NOT "play down" (eg upper house to rec)?
2) If a player is currently playing up a year, can they guest "play down" within their grade/birth year? eg a player (grade 3), registers with a grade 4 UH team--could they guest play with a grade 3 rec team?
3) Can a player on a NorCal travel league team guest play for a SFYS rec or UH team?
2) Yes! Players can guest based on their age and gender, not their team's (ex. like you listed above, a 3rd grader playing on a 4th grade team can guest on a 3rd grade team; a girl playing on a boys'/coed team can guest on a girls' team). This is new this year and thanks to our new registration system, Affinity (our old system) only accounted for the team the player was registered on, and not anything specific to the player. (note that rules for guesting between play levels apply, so players cannot "guest down" from upper house to rec regardless of age)
