We'll update this as your questions come in.
Q: How is seeding for playoffs determined?
A: Teams are ranked by win percentage. When multiple teams have won the same percentage of games, the ties are broken as follows:
- Head-to-head results among the group of tied teams (each win = +1, draw = 0, loss = -1)
- Results against common opponents (each win = +1, draw = 0, loss = -1)
- Point differential among the group of tied teams.
- Point differential against common opponents.
- Point differential across all games.
- Virtual 'coin flip'
Q: How do game cancellations due to rainouts affect the standings?
A: The final score for the game will designate that the game was not played.
Q: What happens when the game is tied at the end of regulation?
A: If the game remains tied at the end of regulation we go straight to penalty kicks from the mark. Have your 5 kickers ready (these can be any player from your GDPR)! If the game is tied after 5 kicks, kicks will then be taken 1 at a time until there is a winner.
Q: Do the five kickers have to come from the players on the field at the end of regular time, or can they come from the bench?
A: Any of your properly rostered players checked in for that day may take PK’s.
