For SFYS teams participating in the Fall Championship games, here's how we envision your games flowing this weekend.
SFYS staff will be at some fields for these Championship games, and for those games that we can't make it to, we'll be sure to get your pins to you another way.
The following schedule for each Championship game has been communicated with your referee also:
- Team check in with Referee (as usual)
-
Teams do the International Walkout from bench to midfield (5 mins)
- All players congregate near their team's bench or technical area
- Photo oppportunity for spectators and professional photographer (when available)
- Link to game example
- Starters take positions and substitutes go to bench
- Game begins
-
End of game
- Handshakes after game (as usual)
- Teams move off field, finding space on the sideline that does not interfere with the next game
- Pin distribution and handshake from SFYS staff (2nd place team, and then Champions)
- Team Photo with photographer (if on site)
If SFYS is not on site to take a photo, please ask one of the parents to take a photo and share with SFYS staff to post on our Fall Champions page.
