Player Safety Checklist
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
-
For younger players, please walk your child to and from the field.
-
For older players, encourage them to walk in groups (at least 2–3 players) between the drop-off and pick-up locations.
-
Ideally, a coach or parent should accompany players when arriving or leaving the field.
Coaches
-
Never leave a player alone on the field.
-
Stay until all players have been picked up.
Bathroom Breaks
-
When an adult chaperone isn’t available, players should go to the restroom in groups of three.
Parent Contacts
-
Ensure the coach has up-to-date parent and emergency contact information for every player.
Emergency Contacts
-
Call 911 for emergencies.
-
SF Recreation & Parks Department Park Rangers (415-242-6390) and Ft. Scott Field Staff (Presidio Trust: (415) 561-4200) are available for site-specific incidents or assistance.
